Group Analysis Report

The history of architecture traces the changes in architecture through various traditions, regions, overarching stylistic trends, and dates. The historical richness creates a very vibrant architectural fabric. However, many historical buildings may face the risk of being demolished to make way for more contemporary buildings. Thus, by recording, documenting and analysing the buildings, we can contribute to preserving the historical evidence of the valuable historical Architecture.

We were asked to conduct research and architectural analysis on 2 buildings. My group chose Villa Rotonda and Duomo Di Milano. Through this project, I was able to learn how different the buildings are from each other and how unique each of them are. My tutor for this subject is Mr Shawn, he is a helpful tutor as he always gives feedbacks on our progress and would tells us ways to improve. Our module coordinator is Dr Lia, she is really nice and understanding in terms of deadlines. She would always give reminders on our assignments and would make sure we have done our assignments.
