Designing with Architectural Principles + Materiality

This project requires us to define and further explore architectural principles from the previous assignment and self-consciousness. From there, we are to generate and craft an Tropical Rainforest Discovery Platform that has spatial experience, with a maximum volume of 125 m3. The platform should be crafted by minimum 70% of dry construction and optionally maximum 30% can be other materials.

Through this project I was able to create an abstract structure with less limitations which was fun. It was a chance to explore more and discovering different ideas. My teammates for this project were wonderful and was open to different ideas so we were able to work together efficiently. In this project, I have learned the importance of the spatial quality of a space and the experience a user will have in a space. ​
